Can a person refuse to sign a Disclosures to get their last pay check.?
If a person get terminated and they are to receive one more check. Can that former employer hold your check if you refuse to sign the disclosure. If they do you do you contact lawyer, the ceo of the company, labor union who?
No severance involved. I just did not fit in to the crack heads and drunks running a professional business in the ground. I never want to be in that business again. I was being trained and the manager came in from being out a whole hour with the smell of weed, crack what ever the drug all in her clothes and eyes.
I live in Missouri.
If you have earned the money, they have to pay you. I don’t see how they would have any legal right to withhold your money for refusing to sign an agreement with them.
I would write to them demanding the money in full, or have a lawyer do it for you.
